Award Categories
The AIANY Marketing Excellence Award is intended to be conferred on one firm, with the possibility of multiple awards if jurors determine that submissions are equally excellent but are reflective of work produced for firms of notably different sizes.

The award will recognize the work of all individuals who worked on the awarded firm’s submitted work, including internal marketing professionals, as well as external public relations consultants, graphic designers, and others.

Judging Criteria
Submissions shall contain one or more work samples (essentially a marketing portfolio) of marketing projects for one A/E/C firm, completed between January 1, 2018 and December 31, 2020. Portfolios should showcase a suite of marketing tactics including public relations and graphic design. Work samples may include but are not limited to: social media campaigns, website design, branding, newsletters or print mailings, press releases, brochures, and publications. Any evidence to the success of a particular marketing campaign or activity is highly encouraged.

Work samples will be reviewed for their creativity, versatility, and cohesiveness. We also highly encourage and will give additional weight to submissions that focus on climate or social justice.

Eligibility
Who is eligible?
A/E/C firms based in New York City. New York City-based public relations, marketing and graphic design firms whose work was created on behalf of  NYC-based A/E/C firms are also eligible. Public relations, marketing, and graphic design firms must create separate submissions for each A/E/C firm they wish to enter. A single submission may not include work for multiple A/E/C firms.
